Our Practice: Kindred Spirits Veterinary Clinic is a small animal clinic that predominantly sees cats and dogs. We aim at providing the best high quality veterinary care, with great respect and understanding of the bond that each owner has with their pet. Our hospital provides routine care and intricate medical work ups. We also provide routine surgeries such as spay and neuters, along with emergency surgeries such as foreign body removals and splenectomies.
Our Facility: Our small animal clinic currently has three veterinarians and five licensed veterinary technicians on staff. We provide digital radiograph, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, up-todate lab equipment, dentistry, a variety of surgical procedures and a special interest in ophthalmic surgery and medicine to our clients.
Goal of Internships: To provide students an experience in a clinical small practice setting mostly towards canine and feline medicine.
Internship Prerequisites: Veterinary technician students in their final year of academics.

Duration of Internship: We offer opportunities year round and students in the past have done 4 to 6 week durations. We are flexible and can work with your schedule. Responsibilities of Veterinary Technician Student: Assist Veterinarians and Licensed Veterinary Technicians with routine examination appointments, hospitalized patients, and treatments. Veterinary Technician students are encouraged to assist in surgery, laboratory testing, and client communication.
